Today, I reflected on Deuteronomy 31:8, where Moses reassures Joshua that the Lord will always be with him. This powerful message is a reminder that even in moments of loneliness, we are never truly alone because God is always with us.
Throughout the Bible, many leaders felt alone—Jacob, Joseph, Elijah, Jeremiah, Nehemiah, Christ, and Paul. Feeling alone is a common experience, especially for leaders. However, Moses' words remind us to not be afraid or discouraged because God's presence is a constant.
Amy Weatherly's words offer further encouragement, reminding us that not everyone will like or include us, but it's essential to focus on those who uplift and support us. Your energy and heart are precious, and it's okay to protect them.
If you're feeling lonely, remember Moses' reassurance: "The Lord is the one who will go before you. He will be with you. He will not leave you or abandon you. Do not be afraid or discouraged." God is with you, and you are precious to Him.
